Two 110-tonne cranes have been moved into position to lift wreckage from the site of the fatal Bedford train crash. Two East Midlands Railway service collided just after 5pm on Friday, leaving the driver of one dead and nearly 100 passengers injured. On Monday lunchtime the first carriage was lifted from the wreckage, allowing investigators to take it away for examination, and get a look at the rail line underneath it. #traincrash #train
