CHILDHOOD TUNES: JAMIE AND THE MAGIC TORCH Anyone who’s watched this wanted nothing more than to slide down that helter skelter into Cuckooland as a kid…and have a dog like Wordsworth! I’m an 80s kid but I remember this cartoon very well, a classic Cosgrove Hall production written by Brian Trueman (the legend who would later bring us the likes of Danger Mouse and Count Duckula) the show ran from 1977-1980 and was a childhood smash! And of course, there’s no forgetting its catchy theme tune too.
